Clear Pricing, No Surprises
All prices are starting prices for single-cavity tools. Final pricing depends on part size, complexity, polymer, and features. Upload your STEP file for an exact quote.
What Goes Into Your Quote
We don't believe in mystery pricing. Here's what our engineers consider when calculating your tooling and part costs.
Part Size & Complexity
Larger parts and more complex geometry require more machining time and material in the tool.
Tool Material
Aluminium is fastest and cheapest. Steel costs more upfront but offers longer shot lives for production volumes.
Number of Cavities
Single-cavity tools are most affordable. Multi-cavity tools have higher upfront cost but reduce part prices significantly at volume.
Polymer Chosen
Most commodity polymers are similarly priced. Engineering polymers cost more but are often necessary for performance parts.
Surface Finish
Standard mould finish is included. Textured or mirror finishes add some processing time to the tool.
Quantity Required
Per-part price drops with volume. At 25 parts, the tooling cost dominates. At 1,000+ parts, per-part cost becomes the key variable.
Choose the Right Tool for Your Project
| Tool Type | Starting Price | Shot Life | Lead Time | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aluminium Insert Cavity | From £995 | 10,000 shots | 5–15 working days | Prototyping, low & medium volume, urgent runs |
| P20 Steel Tool | From £1,450 | 300,000+ shots | 15–30 working days | Mid-volume production |
| H13 Steel Tool | POA | 500,000+ shots | 20–35 working days | High-volume long runs |
| Multi-Cavity Hot Runner | POA | Varies | 30–50 working days | Very high volume, lowest per-part cost |

What Clients Say?
Questions About Pricing
- How quickly will I get a quote?
- We aim to respond to all quote requests the same working day. For straightforward parts, this often means within a few hours.
- What is included in the £995 starting price?
- The £995 starting price covers a single-cavity aluminium insert cavity for a simple to moderately complex part, guaranteed to 10,000 shots. Part moulding cost is quoted separately. Final price depends on part size and complexity.
- Are there any hidden costs?
- No. We quote tooling and part costs separately and itemise everything. The only additional cost is VAT. Shipping is quoted separately based on destination and quantity.
- Can I get a rough price without a STEP file?
- You're welcome to call us on 0117 457 8428 for a ballpark estimate. However, for accurate pricing we always need a 3D file — even a rough model helps significantly.
